Hi I’m Katharina! Welcome to my vintage universe!

I founded Katharina Vintage in the final days of 2019, initially as a side project alongside my full-time corporate career. After several years working in the fashion industry and earning a degree as a textile engineer, I felt the urge to build something entirely my own.

But when I looked around, the fashion landscape felt overwhelming—so many brands, so much noise. It was easy to feel lost in the crowd, especially when browsing department stores.

That’s when the idea struck: rather than adding to the clutter, I’d embrace what was already there—curating and selling vintage under the name **Katharina Vintage**.

Vintage has always been my passion. I’ve been buying, swapping, and upcycling secondhand clothes since I was 16, so it felt like a natural fit.

Katharina Vintage is based in the beautiful region of Lake Constance and the Alps in Austria. As you might notice, many of the pieces in the store are Austrian-made, which is no coincidence. I deeply value the craftsmanship of my local area, and I’m fortunate to find incredible cotton and wool pieces at local flea markets and yard sales.

I also source from other countries known for their strong vintage scenes—Germany (a quick 10-minute drive away), Italy, France, and the UK.

Every item you find on this website has been handpicked, washed, mended (when needed), sometimes upcycled, and styled by me. It’s a personal, thoughtful process—and I’m so grateful to share it with you.

The packaging used is 100% paper and can be reused and recycled multiple times.
